RICE BRAN OIL
Rice bran oil is great oil for heart and health, also goes well with Indian cooking. It contains Oryzanol and it is good for cholesterol. The oil contains high amount of monounsaturated fats and some amount of polyunsaturated fats too. Overall helps to keep cholesterol level healthy if consumed within limits
Olive oil is high in monounsaturated fats and helps keep healthy cholesterol level. It is not very suitable for the Indian style of cooking but great for salads, pastas, pancakes and many Mediterranean cuisines
PEANUT or GROUNDNUT OIL
Groundnut oil is also healthy and a popular medium of cooking in Indian kitchen and suitable for Indian cuisines. It has monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fat and low in bad saturated fat. Good for heart health.
Sunflower oil contains monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats and high quantity of vitamin E. This may increase blood sugar levels in people with diabetes so diabetics avoid or take very little quantity.
